I'm just saying that its become known to us all now that:

    A) the ALDP results will definitely NOT COME in this financial year.

    B) the Monash money would really only become pertainent to our progress if we were at the building stage.
Until then, it seems that the $6 million has no impact WHATSPEVER on our ALDP application.
From Monash the government only wants to know HOW MUCH MONEY, TIME, EFFORT, EXPERTISE and COMMITMENT they are prepared to contribute to an Australian project that could be of STATE SIGNIFICANCE.
By my reckoning, i believe that Monash are involved in our application by way of aqsserting their willingess to participate in an Australian Company Project that is in line with what our Government desires for Carbon Emission reasons. They won't be pushing the MONASH element, but will want to see their names in our RFP so that we have adequately demonstrated that we can demonstrate that within our partnerships we are ABLE TO (and how) demonstrate our path to commercialisation:

"clearly identify the supply chain to the identified off-taking technology (the dried brown coal to diesel plant) including how you propose to meet the feed stock specifications and cost per unit expectations of the off-taker plant. You must demonstrate a link to end products under this demonstration such that the end products could be commercialised following a successful demonstration from this Program.
Note that you would still be required to identify and partner with a viable off-taker for the dried brown coal you produce during the demonstration. Your EOI application must identify how you will dispose of all of the products (including waste streams) from the pre-commercial demonstration plant. It is not acceptable to have any by-products of the plant stockpiling or polluting".

FOR ALL WE KNOW: Monash have specified an intention for the use of their money - eg, after the plant is built and we are producing Coldry, Monash may assist in getting our product off our shores in line with the customers Fozhard has lined up for us in India (hypothetical)...

So management could well be rising up above the noise and complaining that these forums make, in honour of shareholders value over the long term (eg, Monash and the Matmor Plant).

I know that management know that if shareholders really want $6 million they can raise it for the company themselves. This isn't about $6 Million for something needed right now - it is about the very long term agreements made in shareholders favour and the long term synergy between ESI and all of its financial and physical backers.

Currently, the $90 Million we are slicing up is going to be divided (potentially) between fertilizer makers, fuel makers, liquefiers, gasifiers...so how much do you think we will get if there are say 6 recipients?
I put it at about $15 million maximum. That puts into perspective how utterly useless another $6 Million will be for the construction project to begin!! Where is $21 Million going to get us right now anyway??? Nowhere. We need other backers apart from ALDP in Monash's eyes and that is purely my opinion. Legally, they must give the $6 Million as it is now unconditional and enforceable by Laws...so it's obvious to me that ESI Management see the complaining as a mere fruit-fly level of peskiness. They know full well that things are far bigger than shareholoders can see - they can't step back far enough to even see the full picture, they are all captivated with details....like missing out on the Salvador Dali Surrealist Masterpeice in favour of the small melting watch in the corner of it's canvas.

    3) Even if we get money allocated between now and September we likely won't see a cent for the next 11months aqccording to the rules of the ALDP (so don't go begging for a 'result' each and everyday for the next 3 months PLEEEASE!! It would be embarrassing for management i think. Let them forge relationships instead by not tying them up with mundane whines.

    4) We only get the money drip fed over 4 years.

So now do you see how there is not going to be anywhere near as much 'shine on the ball' as shareholders are conjuring?
It's time to chill out and wait. If we get $20 Million we still need tens of millions more....lets let our networkers focus and forge deals and just wait until we have all the jigsaw in front of us before we assume we have the full picture and can begin putting it together. We simply can't put it together yet, we don't have all the peices and the peices we do have are but a mere 5% of what we need anyway - and MOnash money and ALDP money don't kick the goal.

IMO therefore, its a forum bait to say "where is the money? How can we build a plant if Monash haven't even given us $6million? Because its nothing without the complete "end-to-end" scenario of production to sales.
Until we can show E2E, we shouldn't take a single cent of monash as it will trigger all the terms to their side of the game. We also need to protect ourselves as a company by not entering agreements until we're SURE that we have locked in the E2E requirements of the ALDP Until then, we only have to show memorandums of understanding with Monash, i'm pretty sure of that, even if the $6 mill is unconditional by way of an agreement made months ago. All the seams will come together when all the prep is completed. Until then, noone would be wise to give or take a single copper cent from anyone.
