We have an immediate start available in a contract capacity for a Wi-Fi Specialist who has a proven background in providing marketing leading solutions in this space.

You will be someone who has an extensive background working with Wi-Fi technology and should feel comfortable presenting to senior I.T stakeholders.

This role will involve advising a large government department on their core strategy for Wi-Fi in their local area, assist in developing a proposal document as well as providing quotes, suggesting the appropriate Wi-Fi technology and offer guidance around timelines and key milestones that will need to be achieved.

Project Aims
This project is to ensure a highly usable, robust and scalable Wi-Fi network offering free Wi-Fi to areas of the local CBD. After understanding the thoughts and desires of your client in regard to what services they could use, it is then the role of this Wi-Fi Specialist to supply technical details and supporting documentation to create the official strategy.

The Wi-Fi aspects that you will need to advise on include:
•Area Locations - Advise on the 3 locations suggested by the customer and which would be the best option.
•Estimated usage details - Likely numbers of users that will require access
•Physical Devices - Recommend on the optimal Wi-Fi devices
•Radio Frequencies - Recommend the optimal Radio Frequency or Frequencies to be used
•Monetising Methods - Identify methods to create an income stream(s) to offset ongoing costs
•Social Media Integration - Identify and suggest new and innovative techniques
•Legal Requirements - Outline the legal requirements for offering free Wi-Fi
•Service Agreements - Identify methods of providing assistance to users in both a Managed or Self-Managed environment
•Scalability - Network is to be able to expand or contract with little or no configuration
•Security - Identify security concerns that could potentially affect the Wi-Fi
•Additional Suggestions - That you feel will be important from the customers perspective
The consultant is to provide feedback on each item as well as offer additional technical requirements or advice to ensure a robust and an innovative Wi-Fi solution for the client.
