Official interest rates over 20%. Oh... no... not the same.

Interest rates way above inflation. Oh... no... our interest rates are current negative.

Low soveriegn debt levels. Oh... no... we currenly have horrendous debt levels.

Govt budgets under control. Oh... no... we currently have most countries around the world in horror deficit year after year.

Some control of money supply. Oh... no... we have have had five years of heavy QE.

But, KS, aside from those tiny differences, yes... today is just like the beginning of the 20 years bear of the early 80s.
