DIVIDEND: TRP: Transpower to pay special dividend

Transpower announced today that it would pay a special dividend to its
shareholder of $65.7 million on 28 June 2013.

Transpower's Chairman Mark Verbiest said the special dividend is a result of
the successful sale of Transpower's Sydney-based subsidiary company
d-cyphaTrade Limited.
