re: generic drugs!!! watch out below The only issue with Governments enforcing a patent over rides is that it will kill off any private company doing research on serious transmissable illnesses! They spend millions+ on research, find the 'cure' only to have all the profit for their work ripped off when the situation for which they have worked for, eventuates.
It is a big move to go against patents and the ramifications impact on all intellectual property. So it wont be easily sought.
