Using that same train of thought strauss, iron and coal is much more voluminous than copper, but no one of these three commodities is easier engineer a mine for than the other two. I see where you're coming from but I can speak from experience and say that it is just as easy to bugger up a copper mine as it is to send a gold mine broke.
