IMO posters like Stweeve are important to critical reasoning as long as it comes with substantiated statements. Sometimes when "investing", I use the word carefully, some aspects of a business can be taken as proven. This is dangerous.
The questions raised or points put forward actually help to review my thinking and previous analysis.
I stop reading a forum if everyone is slapping each other on the back about a company. Cheer squads are the last to see a teams loss. This to me is more dangerous as it fails to acknowledge the dangers inherent in these micro caps.
IMO Identifying opportunities is great but understanding risk also crucial.
