Well, I have property in 3 states, stocks, pm's etc.
Did very very well out of property in earlier decades, but ATM and for several years now with markets and changes to capital gains tax laws in particular - my property holdings are like having the clap.
Getting them was ok, but living with them is very very doubtful.
I think property investment in Australia is like air travel - the romance is long gone.
Owing a home I believe is still a good thing - different reasons though.
