What is persistent is the brainless debate about boat people.

Most of you don't get it - this is a political game and football and we are the ones being played.

People in boats are zip of a problem - the real problem lies at the overseas entry gates at our international airports.

In they walk and then they just overstay - that is where the numbers are.

The boats bring bugger all in comparison - it just makes a good story and our non thinking populace falls for it hook, line and sinker.

If we really want to attack what we see as a 'problem' there are only two ways --

Either stop considering it a problem and work with it.

Or, play hard arse - take no prisoners.


The problem is we don't have the guts to do either.
