A very broad question indeed.
To continue from Tarecq's statement, the major concern is the captial to spend on further drilling. After Sprott from memory there was roughly $4 million, please correct me if I am wrong.
The Ntiola prospect/discovery is basing investigation along the linear NNW structure called the Ntiola trend. The complexity under the ground would change the timeframe for a resource estimate (inferred --> indicated --> measured). I cannot comment properly on the complexity under ground, but identifying footwalls is certainly positive.
All data colected from all drilling will be used in the overall end resource result. It has begun......
Remember also, the relationship with Randgold:
The exploration database can shortcut to drilling, instead of soil sampling to find an anomaly (which may be more time consuming than capital consuming).
But BGS is already concerned with a particular anomaly, our beloved Ntiola. So........
- The extent of the data base may save time with underground information.
- Morilla's production knowledge may provide a short cut in metallurgy testing, which is a later stage in the resource process.
The major timeframe constricting factor is money-to-drill. Pure speculation from us on here about capital starts with CR, Premium Investors and/or JV's. This area is not my expertise and has been discussed at length on this forum. Any comment post MOU?
I hope that helps, I doubt there is a text book timeframe to answer your question with a date or number of months.
