Why shouldn't the death penalty be bought back?

3 reasons.

We often kill the innocent - we get the wrong person.

Often even if guilty, the person is mentally sick - very often post frontal lobe injury.

Capital punishment is often used politically.



Scum like the cases you refer to maybe one thing, but enacting law is for all.

Our runs are on the board for capital punishment - history is littered with killing the wrong people and for the wrong reasons.

If we could get it right, maybe - but, we can't, so, no.
