Golfy Chris Mainwaring was/is a highly respected GNFL, WAFL and AFL footballer. Before the decision was made to name the wing at Subiaco oval it needed the consent of his family, the owners of the ground, the Eagles, the WAFL and AFL. Consent was unanimous. Chris is one of West Austs favorite sons and anything you say won't change a thing. You are entitled to your opinion and to speak ill of those who have passed on but your perpetual comments on this forum are indicative of your poor education and ignorance of current social issues.
