I posted my thoughts on the General thread.

This is the most appalling show of governance we have ever seen in sport, not only from the AFL but Asada and the Feds.

We have a had a supposed respected sports scientist who has been to a multitude of clubs. I presume has assured these clubs that he had cutting edge stimulants that were 100% legal and would give Essendon and other clubs an edge; btw - the Eagles could be imbroiled; who knows?

The Essendon management signed off on it and Jobe and others were assured that he was doing nothing untoward as he stated in his interview.

If it is confirmed that the stimulants were illegal at the time he ingested them, he and others have to pay the price handed down.

BTW, this is one fine guy who didn't mix with drug dealing scum, he had every impression he was comletely innocent in all his actions.

I will reiterate it has been appallingly handled and all these bodies need to be shaken up.

Most of all Essendon management who signed off on this.
