    I think you are a little out of date.

    As you correctly pointed out a MPSA is merely a variation on an exploration license, and doesn't imply the permission to mine.

    As far as I am aware Lafayette have a mining license (next phase on from a MPSA) and have all the local communities onside on the Island of Rapu.

    If you have any more information I would be glad to here it, if you want we can converse via email as you seem to be conversant with the local issues, as am I.
