As one has the expectation of block 105 to make a large hit & with discussion around $2.50 a share which is more than possible. I would envisage that the largest shareholder of block 105 and 120 would buy out NEN and Kris or at least make a fair hit at the shareholding of NEN. After all ENI is the operator and they are one of only a few operators that could take a significant discovery in their stride.
I must admit it really was visionary to get ENI on as the operator for Vietnam. However, ENI would not come in and play unless they had a level of confidence in blocks 105 & 120. I expect that this is where the quantum of 2D seismic data held by NEN came into its own when the discussions started with ENI?
One seller at 1.3 million shares as stated preciously is not that much in money nor the recent trading patterns of NEN.
