GYM can only be viewed as high risk now in light of the problems at Southlands.
Investors are quite rightly ignoring their gold production because the colliery issues are significant enough to potentially cripple the company.
What they have is an operational risk event due to the fact that (in a nutshell) they have hit clay, not coal. The costs to the operation are enough to cripple this company because they aren't a BHP or RIO with diversified mineral production portfolios.
I am not trying to sound alarmist...merely stating the raw facts.
Holders should now totally re-consider their holdings in GYM whilst traders would be better off punting elsewhere.
It may be time to cut your losses on this one.
