It just proves how pathetic and untrustworthy this whole Labor Government is. The Labor Government under Kevin Rudd's instruction allowed the Pink Batt tragedy to take place. Yet, Kevin Rudd turned his back on the families who lost their loved ones under this "scheme" at the time when they were needing answers and were grieving?
Now because it is politically advantageous, and he has no choice given the reports tabled yesterday, he admits that the Government he led was involved. Why? Because he wants to fuel his ego by becoming an elected Prime Minister, no other reason. I couldn't see any genuine remorse on his nasty face, but he stood in front of the cameras and made a loosely worded "apology" because he was obliged to.
There is no excuse for the way he behaved when families wanted answers and attempted to confront Mr Rudd, he just treated them with contempt as if they did not exist and ignored them. Just as he treated this whole country since he was replaced in 2010.
(Don't even consider the number of family businesses that failed after Mr Rudd destroyed their future by encouraging the importation of cheap insulation Batts to fuel his political stunt.)
Is he going to go to Indonesia and Sri Lanker and apologise to all the families there that have lost loved ones because of his stupidity, ignorance and shortsightedness when he wanted to be Prime Minister in 2007 and to gain votes he opened the borders? He dismantled the proper control of our counties security, and we now have no idea who is in this country, let alone the wasted billions of tax payer dollars for no reason.
How could anybody in their right mind vote or even listen to this two faced totally incompetent politically motivated self opinionated media tart?
Kevin Rudd is an embarrassment to our country, he has blood on his hands but still expects to be handed the Prime Ministerial position so he can do it all over again.
I actually feel very sorry for people that are sucked in by this clown and are going to vote for him and his party in the upcoming election. They are just gullible I guess, they do not even know Kevin Rudd...in the past three years he has done nothing but white ant his own party...he has not done a single thing for this country except bring us down, and there are still a hand full of people who want him to Govern us...it just leaves me speechless...
