I have been aware for a very long time that we are practically eating oil.

I am also aware that the Greek and Roman Empires were principally based on slaves.
Our "slaves" now is oil.

How long all this last is the question without major changes in "attitude".

Building standards in Australia are still appallingly poor - huge houses, no proper insulation "compensated" by huge demand for airconditioning etc etc

I don't have the time to write a novel.

I reject your advice regarding the Greens.
