G,
You would be the first to admit that you, like I, have a certain bias on this subject. My approach is to ask how credible is the horse's mouth in this case?
You of all people, a cynical market player, should know not to believe everything you read. "Do your own research"; is the phrase we market players so often quote to others.

ps. I was not making a judgement about the content of the article but merely saying it had all the hallmarks of a classical propaganda piece.
(For what my opinion, given my own presuppositions, is worth it is unconvincing, mainly because it is trying to build a larger case out of a trivial incident; particularly in the larger context of what, few doubt, is the real nature of Saddam's Regime. It's like fiddling while Rome burns).
pps. not too keen on your geo-politics but appreciate your market acumen.
