These things vary all the time. I don't live toooooo far as the crow flies from Liawenee and about 4 or 5 years back cars couldn't get up my drive because of the ice.
Not so this time - I won't say it was bikini weather, but there are so many microclimates in Tassie, it's not funny.
I clocked minus 6 about a week and a bit ago here and it was much warmer than that here when Liawenee had its minus 12 - maybe global warming is just happening at my place:)
I take all this with a grain of salt - I would definitely not call minus 12 at Liawenee extreme - more like just a shade chillier than normal.
