The debate is a Rudd stunt but it seems to have worked. Abbott needs to regain the initiative imo. Obviously he can't now accept the debate on Rudd's terms but he should challenge him a debate on his own terms.
Maybe a debate of his shadow cabinet against Labors. Make it clear running a government isn't all about Kevin..
