frankly - what is the point of a debate anyway??? - just to listen to some spin, about what rudd might do.

the record is what is important - rudd, who in 2007 claimed that he was an economic conservative (a badge, that he claimed, he wore with pride) - and then did nothing but spend spend spend. rudd whobefore the 2007 election said that he would turn back the boats, believed in strong borders etc - and then put out the welcome mat - and when boat people started to arrive, the spin was that it was all about push factors, now it seems that the last comment that rudd has made about the matter, is that the boat people are economic migrants.

rudd just says anything, has no real conviction - but tries to pretend that he has conviction

why bother debating - rudd is just a hopeless case
