womens strategy

Saw that they released a new line of womens wear to try and gain more market share. I also read a comment from a HC member that why has not Billabong looked at the past when it was working. Good idea. Just spoke to a friend who works in the Australian office and he said that 4 years ago approx Billabong lost 2 of the most experienced desgners/ managers/ product developers that they have had with over 25 plus years experience. Apparently they were replaced by a person with no design experience and only sales. There you go that is a problem to start with. Interesting I say. The decisions I have seen made from afar seem unusual even for a person with no fashion or industry knowledge. Just my opinion.
