The conditions necessary for Ag revival are
1. rain and favourable weather
2. low aussie dollar (< 85c US)
3. stable low interest rates
4. stable / increasing ag commodity prices in USD
I think end of the mining boom in Australia is exactly what the ag sector needs to get wind in its sails....because it will lead to lower AUD and lower interest rates.
