Thanks Timber7, very comprehensive - much appreciated.
A very interesting ENI article posted by Scoob this morning also.
Have been with NEN for about 2 years now, basically on the strength of the Vn exploration play.
But am unsure about taking profit during/after initial drills in current campaign (assuming there will be a price rise) or weather there's greater upside potential to be had by holding (some) for the longer drilling program (2014), through well development to production (2015-....?). I guess it will depend on specific drill results and on how NEN decides to position itself on these matters. Do we have much of a read on NEN's longer term intentions re Vn.
Also need to consider ongoing total annual returns. For me, to-date, its been total annual returns of approx -50% in 2011/12 and approx -30% in 2012/13. In the short term, later this year, it'd be ideal to recover my stake + some (50-100% ??), but the question is how will the NEN sp perform going forward once the dust has settled on the Vn results?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
