    why the worry about Tony?

No one thought he would make a good political leader or ever even be considered for the top job (me included).
So far he has proven many people wrong (me included) and has made a very effective leader.

Whether that will translate into him becoming a good PM only time will tell but as Labor have demonstrated, it doesn't matter whether you are the PM of an elected government or not.
You can be sacked for incompetence, replaced by someone more incompetent and then be reinstated.

If Abbott doesn't cut the mustard he will be replaced within the term of government so those that want Malcolm and feel that they would support the Libs if he was PM by their own postings must accept that this will happen within the next term of government because they are convinced Abbott will fail. Therefore their vote for Abbott is really a vote for Turnbull, which is who they really want as PM anyway.

So why the Abbott angst? A vote for Tony will achieve your desires....unless of course Abbott doesn't fail and then it is a win anyway.

So the logic says a vote for Tony Abbott guarantees a win for everyone

    simple really
