So we can assume then that COP will be around $7 for phase 1 and slightly higher for the first 6 months due to ramp up. The COP of $14-15 kg was for both phase 1 and 2 inclusive . As phase 2 is not fired up as yet and 80% of the COP is in reagents and electricity that are not being consumed by phase 2 . the other phase 2 costs of 20% of $7 ie $1.40 will still be incurred, so my back of envelope guesstimate is a COP of $9 per kg , sales of 3000 tonnes @ $40 kg = $ 93000000 in income, excluding head office costs. Looking forward to being right or wrong in that damn quarterly !! , the future for Lynas is bright IMHO dyor
