Spend lots of time studying charts and trading methods before you put any money on the line. Remember, most traders lose, your only chance of beating the odds is educating yourself and being able to stick to strict rules on when you buy and sell.
Personally I find timing a buy as the easy part, timing a sell and having the discipline to stop dreaming about the millions I might make if this stock just keeps going up and just take the profit and run the hard part.
