cant agree with you on the "lower dividends" molly.
the UOS group noted $264m. cash and equivalents @ 31/12/2012 in its anual report. so my view is not to maintain the current level of dividends would hardly raise a second thought within the board.
in any case if UOSBD continues to maintain its current return on equity (including its increased equity) then likewise there should be no reduction in dividends here either - just increased o/a return to UOS shareholders.
