BioElixia BodyShaper is currently being promoted in the US via a competition on the FabOverFifty website - “Where women of substance share their style”.
Readers are invited to comment, with 15 winning the opportunity to be BodyShaper testers. The competition runs over one week. Less than 2 days in and 270 women have expressed interest. Personal favourite is the woman who pleads she needs to be a tester because
“My thighs look like they have Oklahoma hail and tornado damage.”
Run concurrently with the competition is a 25% off promotional offer that directs readers to the BioElixia shopping site. The BodyShaper promotion has also been carried over to FOF’s Facebook (40,000 Likes) and Twitter.
It will be interesting to see how well this promotional tactic works in the US. Although there are echoes of Mamamia, this time the pitch is to a more mature demographic.
