The issue is Peran having gone through uni recently the quality of students and teachers is terrible. We have boganed university so there is no where else to run. It is as mind numbing as rote learning at high school. With lower cut offs and a poor reputation only bogans do arts, or very misled white kids...(We're allowed to be a mix of racist and highly elitist on the weekend right?).
Everyone studying science now also can't get a job so the high quality students pack into law and commerce like in the US though like in the US the law and commerce grads are now also finding it impossible to get a job.
The mining boom feeds the engineering grads for now but with a down turn none of them will be able to get experience. Med students are still protected by caps at least...
