The city of Detroit, which for years paid its bills with
borrowed money, is the largest city in U.S. history to
file for bankruptcy. It took decades of job-offshoring
decay to bring down the once-mighty industrial giant
that put the world on wheels. The city grew by luring
people in the 1950s with plentiful jobs that paid good
wages to make automobiles for sale across the globe.
If terrorists (not job-offshoring capitalists) had laid
waste to Detroit, they would have been hunted down
like Osama bin Laden. But Bush Junior and Obama
gave them 'stimulus' billions that they spent on
factories in low-wage lands, with this result:
