First time poster on AJQ thread, been a holder for 7 weeks now and am very excited about AJQ.

Weekend AFR write up was great. Interesting to note the piece regarding the Australan gas pipeline sector appeared on the front page of the paper, again on page 35(main feature article for the "Companies & Markets" section of the paper and took up the whole of page 36.

Thats almost two full pages on this sector.

Mick McCormack, CEO of APA has grown the business from employing 30 staff and having assets of around $1.3 billion in 2005 to now employing 2,000 people, with assets exceeding $10 billion.

The infomation that I found most interesting in the article is that some of APA's revenue streams are regulated by the government, meaning that it is easy to forecast future revenues / profits.

McCormack says "These regulated revenues are seen very favourably by the international and domestic capital markets because they are transparent, they are certain".

Having access to such capital makes it much easier for APA to invest in new, "risky" projects and I certainly got the impression that for APA to continue to grow, they need to be involved with new projects, I don't believe they can continue to grow purely through acquistions.

Enter Armour Energy..........massive wrap for AJQ to be the only explorer to be named in the article.

Thank you to all the regular posters on the AJQ thread, its one of the best threads on Hot Copper.
