WANDERING around one of the booth displays at the conference, your diarist's eyes were immediately drawn to Peter Blight's Stellar display.
Why? Well, because it boasted the curious Heemskirk Project. Heemskirk happens to be a delectable Tasmanian wine so we felt further investigation was warranted.
Turns out it's a tin project in Tassie and Stellar is the only tin group presenting at Noosa.
Blight was positive about the outlook for tin despite a few glitches over the years, pointing out his company owned 100 per cent of their deposit, which was conveniently located 18 kilometres north east of Renison Bell, one of the biggest tin mines on the planet ... well large anyway.
"Heemskirk: The next Renison," Blight reckons.
The group listed in 2005 and today has a market cap of $11 million so there is clearly a way to go. The share price is currently around 5 cents after trading between 4 cents and 16 over the past 12 months.There is significant room for upside.
