From the most recent Top 100 statement (13th June 2013), Marbrijen Pty Ltd owned 18,138,785 shares, or 1.01% of the company. They also appear in the Dec 2011 Top 20 shareholders, with the same 18 million shares, so they have been a holder for some time.
Could somebody correct me if my understanding is wrong, but Marbrijen is funding part of the Strategic Deliverable Bond, through Menzies Securities. As at the date of the EGM notice, Marbrijen had obtained a further 103,253,205 shares, bringing their total holding to something like 121,436,990 shares (assuming none have been sold). Which would make them our largest single entity shareholder by far. Something like 6% of the company.
The key executives for Marbrijen are Iain C Kirkwood and Brett G Schwarz.
Is my understanding of this correct?
