    Dirtbags,

This is bringing back memories - I feel like I should respond with copy/pasted sections out of earlier correspondence (not with you, but I digress). Anyway, to your main points:

    cort,
u do have a valid argument, however, dont we currently have at least one board member with no biotech exp?

CB: Yes, we do. Do we need another then?

D:its not about someone telling them how to run their shop, more about assisting with coms to sh. no one is interested in gossip, we want open coms from the co - as promised.

CB: Actually, i want a board member to be able to help run their shop. That's what a board member is supposed to do. I'm still not clear on what you want to hear from them that isn't coming now. You don't want gossip and you presumably understand that they can't release confidential info re negotiations. Can you give an example of something that we found out about too late? Something that your board member would have been able to get out to shareholders early? Re atc, they've already announced marketing deals and the invovlement of LInk (more to come there). They've clarified FDA requiremnts and confirmed Europe ones. They have got the trials ready to go and now thy jsut need funding - -which is what they have invested in coal for. Not sure what more they've kept from us there?

D: whats the harm is announcing, approvals have been delayed, hoping to have news re these in the next 4-6 weeks?

CB: Well, what is the point of that sort of announcement. 'Dear Shareholder, nothing has happened. The end.' If they haven't announced approvals, clearly they haven't got approvals! They provide the commentary about the process in the updates.

D: with the progress being made re coal & atc, why are we around 40-50% the sp of the last agm?

CB: Who knows? Can we really expect the board to explain share movements? What sort of answer are you looking for there? I suspect people are sick of waiting and some have sold out.

D: I've heard whispers that they might be doing a road show with various brokers around the country latter this year. great news, but it cant end there. if no one knows the story, how can u expect people to buy it?

CB: Right, but what's the problem then. Do you want them to do the roadshow or not. If yes, then they are doing what you want. And as for 'it can't end there', what does that mean? Do you want them to head back to the same brokers in 2 weeks with nothing more having happened? Not sure that will get them much of a hearing. Yes, they need to shout out when good things happen, but they have. Can you name an instance when that hasn't happened? My understanding is that they are regularly in contact with brokers.

D: if the additional board member was intent on damaging the current boards dynamics, sack him! look for some positives in the idea, not just the negitives & dont be afraid to try something different.

CB: Not really the point. I'm interested in what this person will bring to the board, not whether we can sack him. I'm not afraid to hear a different view and it would be something different to vote a completely unqualified board member onto a currently united board on a protest vote - that's different all right! Not sure it will be of much help though.

D: its well documented, i didnt like the coal idea, but i am putting my faith in them in this instance.

Well, have some faith then. Do you trust them or not? If you do, then why not believe that they will release news when they have it? Again, the extension of your argument is that they are currently sitting there choosing not to release news. Why would they do that? Particularly when they were the ones to pledge that they would do it? What's their motivation to do that? They're either lying creeps who have told bald faced lies that have caused the share price to drop by 50% in 6months (which would be odd given they've all bought heaps), or they're telling the truth and releasing news when they can and when they have it. I favor the latter as being far more likely.

Keep the faith D. With the SP at 1.6c, the only way is up and the guys are actually on our side and cautiously optimistic. The thing that really convinced me is that people like coatees and cox are still on board. They are people of calibre and integrity and could easily jump ship to other companies. PLus Kirkwood has come in a bought heaps. They wouldn't stay or buy without a real chance of success with ATC.
