Governments Use Bill Express Services
Melbourne, 7 November 2005 –
Bill Express Limited (ASX; BXP) is pleased to
announce that it has been selected as a panel member on the South Australian Government’s Contract for the supply of over the counter services to 6 major state
government agencies.
These agencies issue up to 2.5 million invoices per annum.
This will contribute to the growth in our revenue which has grown from $41.6 million in the month of June 2005 to $62.3 million in the month of October 2005. This is a
49.7% growth in monthly sales over a 5 month period.
This follows the agreement for the use of the Bill Express services by the Victorian State Government, a pilot agreement with Queensland Government Agencies, local government exclusive agreements in West Australia and Queensland and many other local government instrumentalities as previously announced.
“Our company has directed considerable effort in obtaining as much government business as possible based on our company’s ability to provide a better range of services at a wider range of outlets currently totalling in excess of 3,300 and growing,”
said Peter McDougall, Chairman of Bill Express.
Yours faithfully
Marc Lichtenstein
Company Secretary
