re: the economist and the kincella housing -sue yes kincella - i have sort of thought about that - as to what the property would be worth now. i also paid of most of the ex's property - which also happened to have been a double block - that was bought in 1987 for $56,000.
ok - so two blocks about 6km from the city centre
two blocks about 10km from the city centre
two blocks, 8km from the city centre - and one street back from the river
all up - maybe $2m at todays prices
sort of makes money look cheap
