Why do you say it is a rort. The henry tax review recommended this tax change.
They did not consider it a rort. Infact they considered it a beneficial change to the tax system.
The henry review must have considered that the lost tax revenue on the "rort"was more than offset by the other jobs and taxes which flow from selling more new cars, the majority of which are made in australia.
