Not sure where I read the answer to your question (from an analyst's report posted on either the AGO, BCI, AJM or IOH threads perhaps) but I remember the numbers because I found them shocking:

11 cents per tonne per kilometre by truck.
1 cent per tonne per kilometre by rail.

I believe AGO are paying $20 per tonne in effect to truck ore from Wodgina (or maybe it was the estimated cost for trucking it from Mt. Webber). They then have to pay $10 port handling charges per tonne. People wax lyrical about AGO's cash flow and grumble about its low valuation, but as a high cost producer, it must be one of the first to go out of business if there is a drop in the iron ore price. Wodgina is 100kms from Port Hedland, so for a 200 km round trip, the $20 transport cost per tonne sounds right.
