I remember many years ago I was in Tasmania in my 4WD, I was on a beach driving around on the sand having a wonderful time.
I was heading back towards the road from the beach, when a young girl stop me she was blond,she was in a 2WD car, yep she was stuck in the sand up to the wheels in it.
She ask me if I could help her, I said sure I got my tow rope out from my 4WD, and told her can you tie the tow rope to your car and I will pull you out of the sand. I got back into my 4WD, and she was ready to go I told her to start her car up. She did this then very slowly I started to move forward in my 4WD, as the tow rope had no more slack in it I put my foot down to pull the car out of the sand. The next thing I know was I was pulling the front bumper bar away from the car, she had tie the tow rope to the front bumper bar.
I had to stop myself from laughing, I said sorry about the bumper bar, she pick it up and said don't worry about it, its the old man's car and put the bumper bar inside the car. I tie the tow rope to the front end of the car and pull the car out of the sand and said see you later!
