You can't rely on too many things in life but I can rely on Lodiac to take a dump on DYE until it hits .40c which suits me because that's when I plan to slam down some more cash on DYE.

TATA will probably sell TATA Steel Europe and so will have to vacate Shotton BUT they will want to hang on to the Dyesol relationship. So they will probably set up another research facility with DYE + WAG elsewhere and then ultimately sub-licence to whoever buys TATA Steel Europe in an IP sharing arrangement which will provide a local tight R&D loop with access to an R2R line to pilot the ssDSC process. TATA ultimately produces most of their R2R solar steel at Jamshedpur and whoever owns the Shotton site gets a nice percentage earner for being involved in the commercialisation facilitation. Or not. That way TATA can continue to harvest SPECIFIC for IP as well...

Anyway, it's a thrill to witness our investment community embark on the cultural transmogrification into a tertiary economy where the thrill of sheep and ore slowly makes way for the longer cycles of commitment, guile, tenacity and sheer bloody mindedness required to make a buck out of commercialising hard-core science. Maybe one day the sloshy cash will spawn boutique labs of wonder on the shoulders of the great dividing range akin to the globally competitive hamlets in Bavaria of which Dyesol in Queanbeyan was probably a pioneer (I'm sure there are many examples)?...

    To quote the philosopher retiredyoung..
"...The announcement left me with more questions than answers.."

...and that is what good science will always do...

...today I am an omnibus, the nurses are on strike...

...go DYE, go SUN, go Toledo...
