re: here we go, quite beautiful earnings Auntie G, I think you find the rights issue was @$5.50, yes I participated in it also after buying in the Sept 01 slippery slope @$7, $6, $5 (had a buy on @ $4 too !)
re price targets, ML yesterday increased this valuation to $9/share. I think the price will exceed this within 6 months
QBE Mgmt are ULTRA conservative and may well have already reserved some profits in this period. The underlying GI business is probably stronger than the 1/2 year results (and this upgrade) indicate.
If the price starts with a 1 again, in the next 6 mths I'll lighten.
