It has been said repeatedly that the situation would be an Australian Navy boat with an Australian Navy Captain.

This is where the idea of sovereignty comes in. There are clear borders BEYOND WHICH we have absolutely no power. That area belongs to somebody else. It is THEIR home. Not ours.

There are only two ways we can go there.
1/ With their explicit PERMISSION

or

2/ Without it

The second option has consequences.
