I'm getting the dividend yield from the comsec client - its pretty much the last years dividend divided by the current SP.
I haven't done any research into the stability of the dividends, but 0.75c per share twice a year the yield is more like 10% so I'm not sure what the comsec client is doing.
I'm still checking this stock out, so I appreciate your notes.
I did the math on the market cap if the Karratha thing is a total write off; and it would drop the SP down to 11c per share (25% down from current SP). Being a total write off is unlikely, it will retain some value for sure but maybe not the 50 million they have on the books.
At a 50% write down on Karratha the SP should drop to 14.3.
I can see the majority of the property portfolio moving up as the property market is heating up.
I want to find a stock that I can buy into at a low level thats going to have a high dividend growth (cap growth is great too but I'm looking for future cashflow).
If the August report looks like I might drop in with a position.
