In time, democracy will sweep aside religion in this ongoing paradigm shift.
i dissagree because left to his own devices, man will always ponder the question "What does it all mean then?"
and that is a question that science can never answer.
Democracy also means that mankind should be free to practice their own religion, whatever that form will take, without being constantly ridiculed by non-believers because they can't understand it.
