due diligence

Has the company said (or has anyone asked) what the Due Diligence procedure consists of?

I only ask as, if some detail is known, it could better help us guesstimate how long it would take and, therefore, for the finance to be secured.

Typically:

The Feasibility Study would be reviewed by an independent Mineral Resources analyst (accredited and/or nominated by the Bank.

Drill cores might be inspected and the Resources Model and figures justified. In some instances a few extra holes adjacent to existing holes might be required (remember Bre-X?)

Service supply contracts or MoUs might be pored over and those companies' bona fides checked

And so it goes on..

If Management were to be forthcoming at the level and detail of DG investigation performed we'd be in a good position to know when to dust off the bubbly...
