Joey, I disagree. Wherever practicable, any announcement of a price-sensitive nature should be released outside of trading hours.
In fact, the best time in my view is Friday afternoons immediately after the close of trade, that way the market participants have a full 66 hours to digest the information before everyone commences trading on the Monday morning.
Obviously, some price-sensitive information (a major contract win for example) cannot be withheld until a Friday afternoon, but I see no reason why 4D's & 4E's cannot be planned for such timely release - Eternalgrowth
