The same article states that "An outcome on the hearing is not due until the end of 2013" (referring to the case against the EPA conditions on Riley that was just heard at the tribunal).
I had thought that the Resource Management and Planning Tribunal is required to hand down a determination within 14 to 21 days after the completion of the hearing (this is stated in their "Practice Directions of the Resource Management and Planning Appeals Tribunal" booklet on their website; p. 28, section 7.13).
Can anyone explain the discrepancy?
