I'm not from WA although I am familiar with some of the rural areas .
That said , when participating in a discussion , I like to familiar with the facts hence the little bit of research .
But you're right , those blocks certainly are a decent distance from the population centres . In Vic you can easily buy land for similar money ( actually much closer to services ) , typically in little country towns that are dying . Trouble is , you spend half your life and your wages in your car going to work etc .
The old " location , location , location " mantra still applies .
